This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one, Abioye Adepoju, 52, born on February 23, 1961 and passed away on April 10, 2013. We will remember her forever.

BIG SIS

Everybody knew you as ABIOYE, or Sister BIOYE, but you were simply my ‘MY SIS’.

You lived such a selfless life and touched so many. 

You always thought of others before yourself

And you gave selflessly to everyone you knew

One day you spoke to me on the phone and my voice was not so great; 8 days later, you jumped on the plane and came down just to see me in America and find out why I was unhappy, that was MY SIS.

You had a heart of pure gold.

I cry for you my big SIS

I cry for the life that you had and lost

I cry for the happiness that you craved and never got

But I take consolation in the fact that you are with your DADDY (GOD)

You loved God even till the very end; always evangelising even on your sick bed.  You had such a good heart and a heart for God; the Bible in the book of Mathew 6:21 says “but where your treasure is, there will your heart be also”. Your heart was always on the things of God.

You were always going from one crusade to the other; either here or in America, nowhere was too far for you to go and listen to the word of God.  You would always be the first person to get to any meeting as you did not like clumsiness and lateness.  You would say, "it would be rude for you to keep your DADDY (GOD) waiting".

You stood for and loved perfection

I remember what you told me recently about red, black and white COLOURS, you said

Black stands for Power and you loved Black because your DADDY (GOD) is POWERFULL;

Red stands for Class; you loved Red because your DADDY  is CLASSY;

White stands for Holiness; and you love White because your DADDY is HOLY.

Go then home to your DADDY Sis, as am sure he loves you more. I visualise you in his hands just the way you said you saw him carry you in his hands like a little baby and playing with you; l believe that is what is happening now.

So death where is thy sting.

Isaiah 57:1-2 talks about  the righteous dies before their time because God is protecting them from the evil to come. 

REST ON BIG SIS WHERE YOU CAN FEEL NO MORE PAIN.
