Adebanke Eunice Ojo

Adebanke Eunice Ojo was born on the 11th November 1950 to late chief Albert Akinboye. The Elemo of Ido Ajinare now called Ido Ekiti in Ajobo”s compound and Late Madam Lucia Oluwafisayo Akinboye of Ogboni compound(A.K.A Mama Oni shop) at Ogunna street , Ido Ile Ekiti .

She had her early education at St Theresa’s primary school, Ido –Ile Ekiti ,1960 - 1966, she then proceed to St Finber”s Modern School, Efon Alaaye in Ekiti state between 1969-1970. She later proceed to C.A.C Grammar School, Efon Alaaye from 1971-1974.

Passion for advancement in education and as part of yarning for knowledge, which is well known in Ekiti land made her to proceed further to Divisional Teachers College, Ado Ekiti form 1979 – 1981, where she obtained Teachers Grade II certificate. An average Ekiti origin will never want to stop increasing in knowledge and wisdom, this motivate her to proceed for university education though a diploma earn under a statutory mandate of highly recognized Nigerian university ,University of Ife now Obafemi Awolowo university, Nigeria between 1987 – 1988 for her Associate Certificate in Education(ACE). Not relenting in her quest for education advancement with a lot of domestic responsibilities, she further her Education into Osun State College of Education and obtained her National Certificate of Education in 1994(NCE).

Adebanke Eunice Ojo, the only daughter of her mother, an icon of transparency, energetic and committed woman is a very good adviser, an intelligent woman with strong heart: this attribute allow her to hold forth for her husband who passes away over 32years ago by single handedly taken care of the children to a successful level without remarrying (This gesture the children mostly appreciated).

Happily married to Oyetunji Ojo , a caring and loving husband who died November 7th 1982, the marriage is blessed with wonderful and God fearing Children.

Mama Biodun as fondly called by over 80% of populace that knows or work with her is a Teacher per excellence, who rose through the ladder of teaching service up to exalted position of headmistress in Osun state schools board. Her working experience follow thus:

C.A.C primary school Moore, Ile – Ife, 1992-1988.

St Paul’s Anglican primary school, ayegbaju Ile – Ife, 1992- 1998.

Local Authority primary school, Ifewara road, Ile – Ife, 1998-2004.

St Paul’s Anglican primary school, Ayegbaju Ile – Ife, 2004-2007.

Ire – Akari Community primary school, kosere Ile – Ife, 2007-2011.

St John’s R.C.M Primary school, Oke – Atan, Ile – Ife, 2011 – 2014.

Grandma Ife as fondly called by her grandchildren actively served the Lord all her life. She prepare herself for her active role in church activities , she was the church Financial secretary for many many years of annual church harvest events both adult and juvenile at Celestial church Christ , Moore cathedral  Ile Ife , a strong pillar of Good women fellowship , CCC Osun state wing. She had her contributions recognized in the church by her elevation to the rank of Mother celestial.

She was a mentor, peacemaker and a tower of inspiration to family, friends and colleagues. She was driven, full of life, character and went above and beyond for her family. She was a real sweet caring mother and a pillar of support to her children, friends and family till the time she rested in the Lord.

She is survive by six grandchildren (Oretoluwase (T-boy), Tiwaladeogo (T-girl), and Anthonia, Nicolas, jeforrry and Israel (precious boy).
