This memorial website was created in memory of our loved one, Alex mCdONALD, 17 years old, born on August 12, 1992, and passed away on November 29, 2009. We will remember him forever.
Hey Alex! Happy heavenly birthday! It was great to see your mom, dad & Meg - even if I did unintentionally/unknowingly breathe Covid germs on them. Say HI to that guy! Love & Miss you both!
So you would be 26 now? Wish you were here, still giving me fun and friendly competition on the bowling lanes, and grief about our different rooting interests college football. But… that's okay… I bet you are thoroughly enjoying heaven. :-)
Wow, you would have been 23 today. I guess you still are, just with a better view of the world. I miss our friendly rivalry on the bowling lanes, but I know you are in a better place.
Happy 21st Birthday Alex! Can't imagine what your drink of choice today would have been, just know it would have been a joyous and fun celebration. We will be joyous in your honor.
What a path of delight, laughter, and mayhem we cut from central Fl. to the Atlantic ocean....the four of us in the red mini-van....the aunties, Alex, and Megan. What great times we had. Alex was the consumate navigator. What a guy. I think about all the good times we had every day.
Claude and I loved Alex very much. He was so funny watching the scoreboard like a hawk. Claude loved to tease him about any cute girl walking by as Alex gave her a quick look hoping no one saw him. We know how much Alex loved to bowl. We loved to watch him as he tried to beat Bill. Claude and I are privileged to have known him even if it was for WAY too short a time. Miss you Alex!
Alex, you will always be with us in our thoughts, prayers and most of all in our hearts! Sending love to you and your mom, dad and Megan Mollie, Roy, and Mack
To follow-up my below post on Alex, here is the link to his personal best bowling score and story (you can highlight & copy the address, but exclude the quotation mark after .htm)...
I mostly knew Alex from bowling with and against him. I say against him because our friendly rivalry would get quite competitive. I won't forget his competitive spirit, underneath which was a kind heart. He was a good kid, very smart. And he loved beating me! Ha. I'll follow this with a link to his personal best.
I know for certain that we never lose the people we love, even to death. They continue to participate in every act, thought and decision we make. Their love leaves an indelible imprint in our memories. We find comfort in knowing that our lives have been enriched by having shared their love. -Leo Buscaglia Alex is always in my thoughts
