but still seems like yesterday, dad.
You have our heart and many memories,

you have many to keep you company.  xxoo"

"Always a smile, instead of a frown,
Always a hand, when one was down,
Always true, thoughtful and kind,

"Remembering you is easy,
We do it every day,
Missing you is the heartache,
That never goes away.
Behave yourself up there with that bunch!  We'll have a cold one and join in with all our loved ones there and here, dad.  Miss you. xxoo"

"Another year goes by, Dad, and still we miss you so.
We know that you are in a better place,
But that doesn't make our heartache go away.
A smile comes to my face when I think of you,
as you'll be shooting the shit and playing your cards
with the rest of our loved ones that have gone away.
You'll always be with me, dad.  xxoo"

There's a face
We shall always remember,
A voice we shall always recall,

"22 years on the 22nd of November.  Hard to believe that so much time has gone by, dad.  We miss you so much, but you are always with us.  There are a few of us with your smart ass humour, lol.  You'd be so proud of all your grandchildren.  They've all grown up to be awesome adults with lots of friends.   You will always live on in my heart, dad. xxoo"

"Another birthday that comes and goes without you!  You are missed by so many people, but we know that you are o.k. and having a great time with other family and friends that are with you.  We miss and love you.  We still talk about the stupid ass things that you did! Quite the sense of humour you had.  It still lives on!  hugs....xxoo...."

"I have no poem, no saying, no quotes, no words of wisdom.....
Just a simple line
Dad, you are missed

Love brad"

"What we'd give if we could say,
Hi, Uncle Alex, in the same old way;
To hear your voice, and see your smile,
To sit with you and chat awhile,
So if you who have a uncle,
Cherish him with care,
For you'll never know the heartache,
Till you see his vacant chair.

Still missed and loved by Penny & Dick"

"well, dad...You'd do almost anything to get a laugh or reaction from a person.  Then you'd sit and giggle about it.  We could always count on you and your heart of gold.  You'd be glad to kow that your kids and grandkids carry on your "smart ass" ways.....lol  Whenever you were sitting quietly with a smerk on your face, we knew that a practical had been played somewhere!  Miss you, dad."

"No Farwell words were spoken,
No time to say goodbye,
You were gone before we knew it,
And only God knows why.

When someone you love becomes a memory,
The memory becomes a treasure.

We miss you dad,
Deb and Dave Barber and grandchildren, Laura and Mathew."
