Tributes
Leave a tributeToday marks your 92nd birthday. You have been gone for just over two years, and I still miss you. I know you are enjoying being free from this prison called time, and all the pain and suffering, but I want you back. Just a little while, and we will be together again. Hallelujah.....
This will be the second Christmas without you. We all miss you so much, and time has not made it any easier. Each day I think about you, and long to see your beautiful smiling face. Maybe I'm selfish, but I do long to be with you. See you soon Mom, I love you.

We all miss you Mom, and we are looking forward to being with you again in a much better place. HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM, WE MISS YOU.
This will be the first Christmas without you. I am feeling so sad you will not be here for sharing and exchanging gifts, but most of all I'll miss your beautiful smiling face. Please, save me a place right next to you at God's banquet table. I LOVE and miss you so much.
Your Second Son Les
You are the one who stood by me in all my stupidity, and miserable failures. You are the one who never gave up on me. Your prayers and support was the influence that made the difference in my life. You were always encouraging, and positive. I praise God for who you are. This is not Goodbye, but farewell, until we meet again in the presence of Him who is our hope. Love Les

Prayer meetings with Mom
We had some amazing prayer meetings. One time we were having a meeting in Ernest and Annalee's house (where we almost always had them) and we began to pray for Grandpa to be able to hear. The spirit told us to note the time on the clock on the wall. It seems like it was 10:00 PM. The next day we were at Grandpas house, and we ask him how his hearing was. He said with a big grin, "Last night about 10:00 o'clock my ears popped, and I could hear." Amazing answers to prayer was not uncommon back then. We were young, new Christians, and just believed when the Bible said it, it was an indisputable fact, and we acted on it. We took authority over the devil and told him to flee and he would flee. I believe we need to return to our first love, and reclaim our place in this spiritual battle.
My memories of you
Good bye Grandma.
I am happy I was able to see you before you left us.
I remember you from when I was just a child, your house on Jones creek rd. The Christmas and Thanksgiving holidays linger in my memories. I remember a very large christmas tree with so much tinsel on it that it took what seemed like days to put it all together. The tree had sooo many gifts under it that we could hide amongst them playing hide and seek. I remember how you would be in the kitchen and call me over to let me sneak a taste of that delicious food you always treated us to for the holidays, I can still see you with a spoon of something I only knew was delicious to eat waiting for me to run over to get a mouth full, your loving smile and happy eyes ... I have always missed you grandma.
We never saw eachother again until last spring when I had a dream of you, and decided I should visit.
It is sad how things turned out, you were the only grandmother I knew and that only as a young child. But I have always thought of you, always.
I love the memories of you and I truely hope you are at peace.
Your grandson,
Michael
P.S.
I have always wanted to tell you that I am sorry for ruining you wringer washer outside, little boys should know better then to put lizards through those rollers.
