this is in memory of our dear alice she was born on the 2nd of december 1974 at lincoln county hospital 
born into a catholic romany gipsy family
her mother was alice furey and her farther was john furey she has one brother john-matthew  and two sisters charmaine and patricia
alice was a happy child who never suffered from any illnesses
she grew into a beautiful young woman that enjoyed all the thing around her she loved music, singing, laughing, going to concerts
she had a grate love of children and was very close to her grandfarther who she used to watch and read the horse raceing results out to at 81 year alice was an innocent girl who had never had a boyfraind she had never argued with anyone in her life there was nothing she would not do for anyone  
one day in the summer of 1996 alice said she was not feeling well and had stomach pains her mother (alice) asked her if she wanted to go to the doctors and she said no im ok some time past and she was not feeling any better her mother rang the doctors and they told her to take her to the hospital
on arrivel at the hospial the doctors discovered that she was born with a bowl to long that was kinking and causeing the pain they said the best thing to do was operate her mother and father asked the doctors is there any chance of anything going wrong and they said no she will be fine her mother rang the local catholic priest to pray for a safe operation on her daughter
alice seemed calm and not in pain anymore she was saying the lords pray with the priest when he had finished the doctors was ready to give her the pre med injection for the op she kissed all her family and fell to sleep she was due her operation at half ten
at nine forty the doctors came out to tell us that our dear alice had passed away in her sleep 
the poisen from the bowl that was kinked had poisened her system there was nothing they could do
so our dear alice passed away at the age of 21 years at 9.40 on the 15th of aug 1996 a very special day in the catholic calendar the day of the assumption she was brought home where har family kept a vigil with her body for 8 days within the 8 days she did not have any singes of rigor mortis she was as soft and warm as she was in life she was buried on the 9th day at nottingham road cematrey darby in a metal lead lined white casket in a double bricked vault that has white tiles with crosses on the walls and is sealed with reinforced concrete stabs
her grave is a living memory to her that will last forever god bless our dear alice may she rest in peace
