My mother Alice Heather Mackenzie was born July 19 1950 in the back of her dads Jeep at Vancouver hospital I guess she couldn't wait to make her appearance.  My mom had a fair share of struggles in life with a abusive alcoholic father and mother in river view she was the main care giver of her 3 sisters and brother at the age of 6 my mom and her siblings went into care where they were placed with the unruh family a very sweet German couple who opened there heart and home to thousands of kids who otherwise would have just got pushed through the system. At age 27 my mom married my father Brian Dennis Sutherland also from Vancouver Bc and at 28 they welcomed my brother Arthur into there life's Arthur was my moms little hero then 6 years later at 35 my mom gave birth to me Angelina Mari Sutherland I was premature with a lot of health problems even when the nurse to mom to say her good byes because they didn't expect me to make it my mom said no way my daughter is a fighter and no matter what it takes I will ensure she makes it through which I obviously did because I'm writing this I have a beautiful daughter Angelica Alice Sutherland who is a lot like my mom strong sported stubborn and looks like a angel Angelica was born October 21 2012 that was a very emotional day with me having to undergo surgery without my mommy by my side was the hardest thing I've ever done all I wanted to do was pick up that phone and tell her the wonderful news.  My mom and dad split when I was only 1 years old due to his abusive drunken ways my mom loved my dad with all her heart and was hard to leave him we still saw him when he felt like coming around I don't really know what else to add at this point so hopefully family can add to this more about her before I was born
