Alice was my neighbor for 19 years and was one of the nicest persons I have ever met. I moved here January, 2017, and immediately Alice and her husband Gale came over and introduced themselves. We became fast friends and I often had to borrow items from her, for which I joked that over the years I probably owed her a case of eggs. We would often be out mowing our yards at the same time and we would inevitably end up stopping the mowers and Alice, Gale, my husband Robert and I would end up congregating at our side fence and visiting. Over the years we became very close, and they gave us a hand me down t.v. and other things. My children were treated special by them as well. Gale passed away May 14, 2007 and we became even closer, often helping her with things she needed physical help with. My husband passed away january 4, 2010 and she was right over here comforting me. After that my friend Daniel Kepler and I would assist her with things around the house such as snow removal and just checking in with her to make sure she was alright. The day of her death I saw the ambulance next door and ran over there. I asked the EMT if Alice was alright and he told me that she had just fallen out of bed. I didn't feel right about what he said so I checked later and that is when I found out that she had died. My heart is once again broken by the death of someone that I cared so much about. Please say a prayer for my dear friend! Thank You!
