Alice Spinney was a wonderful woman. She accepted me and my children into the family like we were just other grandchildren. I loved to listen to her talk about stories of her husband and days of long ago. She was a strong spiritual woman that went home to be with her loving husband and the Lord above. My heart hurts because I didn't get enough time. You will be greatly miss. God Be with you!

I already miss you dearly Alice and Don too. Alice was my 2nd mom since I was 6 years old. I spent many summers and holidays at her house with Vicki growing up. Never an unkind word and just a wonderful woman. Now an angel in heaven. I love you sweet lady!

Alice, when I met you, you welcomed me with open arms being a friend of your Daughter Vicki. For several years you had me to your home, had me for dinner and even at a birthday party or two, as if I was part of the family. I remember the trip to the coast too, staying in the motel room with your whole family. Those where great times. You are and were a beautiful lady.. Giving, loving, and passionate to all. You well never be forgotten in my heart and your family and friends hearts. May you be at peace now up in heaven with your loving husband... God Bless

I was 13 when I met Vicki and then Alice, Don and the rest of the family.... they invited me to birthdays, anniversaries, and going away parties... basically I had been "adopted" by them. Alice was warm-hearted, funny, loving, and a wonderful Christian influence on many. . I was even invited to go the beach with the whole family. She was like a second-mom to me and will be truly missed by all who knew her. My love, sympathies, and prayer to her family.

I lay a flower for a lovely lady who raised one of my favorite people, Vicki. Alice's children are testament to the warm, welcoming person she was. She radiated warmth and motherliness. Whether she had know you for decades or just met you, she always left you feeling like you were family. She had a sweet sense of humor and a great belief in her Lord. My thoughts are with you Alice and the rest of the Spinney family.
