This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one, Alicia Lopez.  

A service was held in her honor on Saturday, April 06, 2013, by Father Oscar Alonso at Saint Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Boca Raton, FL.  We express our most sincere and deepest appreciation to Father Oscar for presiding over such a beautiful ceremony, and being so considerate of our family.

We also thank all who participated and attended the service.  Your presence and your words of condolence have been most comforting.

Hello my loving Mom,
Today is the 11th anniversary of you moving on and not a day goes by that I don’t think of you or mention you. You are very missed but know that you are always near.
So much has happened, my boy has grown up. He has a girlfriend named Bella and I know you would have liked her. She is friendly, loving and loves Joalbert. He has moved on to work with Patrick and loves it.
Tio Jimmy put the house for sale and Joalbert and Patrick are representing him on the sale.
Stephy is also doing great. Has two dogs. Papo is doing well in the nursing home.
Steven finally retired and Pina continues to work.
I keep working and enjoying teaching. Georg and I are also doing good. He still working too. Can you believe we have to fill forms for Medicare??  oh well!!
Love you to pieces and miss you a lot. Continue to watch over your children, grandchildren and loved ones. Miss you forever and love you!

Hello Mom!
What a year this has been. Today on your 10 year of moving on I miss you as if it was yesterday. I have learn to live without your advise, hearing your voice and your hugs but sometimes I close my eyes and feel you next to me. Well, Jam finally graduated from FAU, “Go Owls!” He is working and Georg and I are so proud of him. The rest of the family is doing great!
I know from heaven you keep watching over all of us. Be Happy and know that you are truly missed everyday!! Love you forever!!❤️

Dear Mom, today on your 9th anniversary of you going to Heaven you are very much loved and missed.
So many things have happened since your body left us. The grandchildren are all doing great and I know you would be so proud of what they have accomplished and the great people they have become.
I think of you every day and somehow I find myself doing or saying something that reminds me of you and it brings me a very happy comfort.

Dear Mom, Hoy se cumple el 8to aniversario de tu partida. Como te he extranado! Tengo tantas cosas por hablar contigo sobre todos los cambios que llegan a nuestras vidas. Jam ya cumplio 21 anos, que ligero pasa el tiempo! Estamos muy orgullosos de el. Ya le queda como un ano para terminar la universidad. Siempre vela por el y protejelo. CAsi todos los dias te menciona de una forma u otra. Titi Juanita esta viviendo con Luisito ya que no puede star sola. My loving mom,
Happy 83rd birthday!!! What a year this has been!! Three major hurricanes. Steve turned 60. Patrick just graduated from the university with cum laude status!!!! I know you are proud of his accomplishments.
Titi is living with Luisito because Hurricane Maria hizo mucho daño en la isla.
Dear mom I still miss you but I know that you are happy and healthy in heaven. Oh how I wish to hear your voice or to feel your arms around me but for now I hold my beautiful memories in my heart and look forward to the day that we can be together again.

In Our Hearts Forever.
   At one time or another we all go home leaving our Loved Ones to continue their journey here. For us it will be a pleasant journey, but those we leave behind are left with and emptiness and an aching heart...nurture that aching heart with the Love and Memories of Alice. Alice was a special person that I met when I came to Florida in 1993 , who extended the hand of friendship to my family. I will always remember her kindness and pleasant personality. Remember, God always picks the most beautiful flowers for his garden...I'm sure she and Dennis Sr. are smiling and their spirits will remain with us each and everyday of our journey here...God Blessed us All with Alice...I pray that he will continue to bless us with our warm and wonderful memories of such a special person.

Belinda aunque no vi a tu mami los ultimos años me acuerdo cuando la conoci una persona con una sonrisa que es dificil de olvidar y dificil de no sonreir con ella y sus abrazos eran tan amorosos que uno hubiese querido quedarse en ellos. How lucky one has been to have met Alicia. She was a true lady in every sense of the word. Kind, tender of heart and very giving of herself. Alicia was a woman that one could only hope to ascribe to someday. Heaven is truly a better place because of her presence there.

Alicia was a joy to have known and share so many good times with. She always had a welcoming heart & smile for everyone she met. Doña Alicia: I've heard rumors that this year you are to cater the Lord's Last Supper with Pasteles, Alcapurrias and Bacalaítos instead of the usual unflattering, unleavened bread which should give Him plenty of energy to take-on the Cross on Friday. He then will be looking forward to some of your awesome coquito on Ressurrection Sunday morning!
