Aunt alvira and uncle melvin i miss you so much even tho i only got to see you a few times in my whole entire life i still rememeber. I wish i wouldve got to see you more. Miss u so much.

Mom mom has been sorely missed this year by me. I miss her calling on holiday's asking about our daughter. I miss her telling us about family I only know by name but never met in person. I miss the Florida chat about the family. I miss her voice on the answering machine. She is one special lady that I will miss until I leave this earth. I am so glad I knew her and that she was in my life.

It was a joy and privilege to know Aunt Alvira and she will be greatly missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with all her family and just know that her and Uncle Melvin are together in heaven.

I remember my last conversation with Mom-Mom. It was the day Hines Ward retired. Mom-Mom was bent out of shape; she said why did theyhave to go and do that? We had fun times talking on the phone while watching a football game 1100 miles apart. Who'd have thought that she and I would watch football together? I'm going to miss her so very much. It's hard when you're connected at the heart.

I thought of Mom-Mom today, we had an April 24th storm, alot of trees lost branches but the tree Mom-Mom planted did not loose any branches.

I was blessed with a special Mother and parents. Mom was a loyal,loving wife and mother. She always knew who she was and what her place in the world was .A caring and protective Mom to her Kids .As a Grand mother ,she really did shine....A real MomMom. I will always be thankful for the last few years we spent together as roomies .

She was a beautiful, loving, lady who made me feel part of her family.
I am so honored to have known her and to have named my daughter's middle name after her because it will allow me to always talk about her throughout my life to Allyssa about her awesome great grand mother.

I have so many wonderful memories that it would be hard to pick just one; thank God those memories are timeless. Aunt Alvira and Uncle Melvin were so special to me and will live forever in my heart. Words cannot describe how I felt about Mom-Mom. She held a very special place in my heart. I am going to miss her visits to PA. I am glad that her last one included being at my wedding. It really meant a lot to have such a special guest there. I will always love you Mom-Mom!

Mom Mom and Pop Pop used to keep me on the weekends when my mom was a nurse and worked nights. I was spoiled to say the least, I was always allowed to sleep with Mom Mom and Pop Pop was kicked out of his room and slept in the guest room for two nights when I came. She would always make pop corn balls with me and have doritoes when I came. She would always make sure I had plenty of things to do and take me to all the kids activities Holly By the Sea had.
My kids also love her very much. She always kept gummy worms and gymmy bears in the house for them. Ice cream is also a big favorite for my kids and Mom Mom made sure there was always plenty when they came to visit. This tradition was started by Pop Pop :)
We will miss our Mom Mom very much.

Mom-Mom was one special woman! She made me feel like I was one of your very special family from the day I met her. She remembered me by sending cards for holidays ~ in one card she mentioned how much she missed Pop-Pop. I am so very thankful for the time I had with her and I know that Alvira and Melvin are together again as it should be! Thank you Evie for sharing her with us.
