This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one, Ambrose Bame KUM who was born on October 10, 1944 and passed away on October 11, 2010. A revered automotive and Civil Engineer from English Cameroon. We will remember him forever. A unique African Engineer and philanthropist who served his people in absolute good faith. He managed Multi-million dollar projects in Cameroon Africa; he was a man who could transform a forest into a city. He was the Head of The African Society of Engineers in the 70s.
Engineer Ambrose Bame assembled the largest timber processing mill ever designed by humans on earth in the SWP of Cameroon in the 1970s in a Village called "Kilampe" about 4-7miles from Nguti town. He and late Nzo Ekangaki imported an original set from Brazil and altered the design to produce a double range equipment. He developed and built many estates, plantations, camping zones, roads, bridges, and civil engineering equipment.
He retired as Chief of Lower Matoh Village in the SWP of Cameroon, a new social community he developped on his project ventures of Cameroon. He worked with local chiefs in the SWP of Cameroon. He loved flowers and agriculture. His sermons were given to those on the streets and in the factories. Ambrose Kum Bame visited his grand kids in Yaounde, Cameroon where his life was taken away. He died in the Yaounde Central Hospital for lack of Oxygen and respiratory assisting apparatus during surgery.
His death, just as his brother's (Rev. Prof. Michael Bame Bame) is not Natural. Spiritually or Physically there is a group in Cameroon behind all these!!
