My mother had a very strong character, but she was a tiny lady. She was very strict. She was a very hard working person.  She loved to read the Bible, preach, walk, go to the beauty salon and cook. Her meals were delicious!   She always paid attention to her appearance and encourged me to do the same thing.  She was an extremely clean person. Always washing all silverware, glasses, cups, pots and pan before using them even if it had been just two minutes since she had done the dishes.

She taught me everything about values, morals and principles.  She encouraged me to study, go to college and make good grades.  She was extremely happy when I was going to defend my thesis in college.  She told me, "I will pray for you so everything goes well."   When I went back home and told her that everything was ok and that they called me Doctor, she was extremely happy and thanking God for helping me.

I miss her so much and I love her so much.  Some day I am going to be with her in Heaven.  Mom I know you are resting in peace.  I know you are in Heaven with our God.  I ask God everyday to kiss mom, hug her for me and tell mom I love her and miss her so much.
