Andre's family and my family have been diamond Vale neighbours for over 44 years. We have known Delano and Sasha as babies also my Derek and Stacey and i must say how proud i was of both of them in putting things together during this very difficult period for them, and Farida for caring and giving Andre the best of care in all ways possible day and night to make him comfortable during his illness.

We enjoyed many limes at their home and Mayaro over the years, also helping with putting Mayaro together in the  early stages, going up on weekends to help.

I have climed over the wall for many years especially when he was laid up Accident/illnesswith my pumkin soup for him, his name for me was "Indian" he would shout over the wall going up the road you want anything? and wou ld still bring ochroes, avacados, roti bake and ofcourse mangoes from his tree, he would say what on your side is yours,I would also get breakfast on Sundays - choka and fry bake.

And so i climed over the wall for the last time to bid farewell January, 2013, to a dear friend, helpful and loved neighbour in many, many ways, who fought the good fight.


Years will fly, tears will dry, but our love for you, will never die.
