Dear uncle Andre,

I don't have any vivid memories of meeting you, but I have never forgotten the night you passed. For some reason, tonight I decided to read every story about you and swipe through all these pictures of you, and I can't help to be left feeling like I missed out on an amazing person. You seemed to have been so genuine, kind, hardworking, and thoughtful. I pray our Heavenly Father has received you and that you watch over your many loved ones each day. Continue to rest in perfect peace.

Gone to soon! I know it has been a short time since you left but I still think of you. I think of you when I am in class telling my students about pharmacy and all it requires to be successful. I think of you when I remember how you show compassion during a difficult time for me. You supported me. Most of all you has always respected me. I can still hear you say " Yes miss Brenda or No miss Brenda", with that big bright smile. You were more than a co-worker, you became my son. I truly miss you. Gone but never forgotten. Rest in Peace!

Adieu my brother

May 2, 2017

My BIROCOL mate, my next desk neighbour in class, my brother from another mother, my Sonac street neighbourhood buddy. For many years you went off the grid but I always nursed this idea that somehow, someday I will find you, only to hear of your demise. I can't describe what I feel "Bulyaka", there's no word to effectively depict my emotions but I want to say Thank you Dre, for all the advices you rendered and for having you as a friend and brother. Adieu Mon frere. Que le seigneur veille sur ton ame. Je vais te visiter le jour que je rentre au pays, entre temps repose en paix afam. Love you always brother

I've known Dre since we started pharmacy school together.  He's one of those people you can't help but love and get close too and we've only gotten closer over the years.

I wouldn't know where to start in regards to telling a single story about a man I considered a brother, by choice if not blood.  So instead I'll share a memorial video I've made in his honor.

Till I see you again brother.

We met when you were a pharmacy student doing rotations where I worked. You were so soft spoken and polite. I remember one day, about a week into your rotation, the pharmacy was quiet and I heard you having a conversation with someone. I noticed an accent in your voice I didn't notice your first days there. I said "Andre!! Where are you from??!" You told me you were from Cameroon and one of the main languages was French. You educated me about your hometown...I remember you showing me beautiful pictures of birds. Every day when you would leave and say goodbye to everyone, I would ask you to say Croissant and you would do it with the most cheerful smile on your face. You, my friend, are a wonderful, generous, person that will be missed. And although the pain and sadness of losing you has hit us hard, when we close our eyes, all we can see is that warm smile you always have on your face, which makes us smile in our heart. I send my deepest condolences to your family.

Andre was the type of person who tried not to wrong any one, and if he did so, he would try to make amendmends. I remember our day back in Saint Bedes College. It was Upper Sixth third term, with a few weeks left for the term to run out. A couple of us brake school grounds to buy some stuff at the next local shop close to the school. Unfortunately for us on this day, things got wrong and we got bursted. We all got desciplined infront of the whole school and the last day of the term. We then were told we would have to do manual labor as punishment. Rev. Fr. Kingtang promised us, we would only receive our G.C.E results slips after haven done the manual labor. We all laughed to it and said we wouldn't do it.

A few weeks before G.C.E. Results would come out, I had a conversation with Andre and he talked me to join him and go to Saint Bedes and make things right. We went back to school and did our share of the manual labor. Because we were the only ones so far to have come back to do the manual Labor, we got released of some days and ended up working just for a day and a half.

Andre was a friend in deed and will forever be remember in my heart.

The fast runner in P.N.E.U yaounde, that`s where our paths first crossed when he playfully broke my brother's arm. That will be the first incident that led to a friendship that will last a life time. While in St Bede's College,He was the boy with the most loving smile and kindest heart,He never refused to give me Garri, yeah, the basic things you never forget. The most outrageous and loudest laugh, that was Niba André for me.He loved advising me,helping me,this is a big loss but God needed you more my brother.I'll never forget you and will always smile when i think of you.Till we meet again my brother.I am hurting so bad.I miss you already!

Andre my "Friend"

July 4, 2015

Andre Nforbi and I worked together at Bon Secours Hospital and when I got sick last year and lost my position, Andre was my biggest supporter. He was such a sweet, loving, caring young man, you just knew that the Glory of the Lord was upon him. Andre was always willing to lend a helping hand in any way he could, and although I will miss him terribly; I know my God has great plans for him. Andre didn't need to go to heaven' because he was already an "Angel"

LOVE AND MISS YOU,UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN!!!!
