Andrea and I first met on a blind date in 1994,set up by 2 of her friends. When she walked in the door the first thing I noticed were RED cowgirl boots and a long auburn mane of hair. We were introduced, had a drink and proceeded to talk and laugh the night away.Something clicked!! I called her the next day to set up a lunch date which she accepted. From there I was hooked,this beautiful,spirited woman LIKED me. We dated and eventually moved in together. The like had turned to love and Christmas of 1999 I asked her to be my wife. All nerves and giggles, she made me the happiest man aive on August 18th,2000.
              The next years were magical, when we weren't working we traveled and enjoyed just being with each other. I couldn't have asked for a better partner in crime. I felt alive for the first time in many,many years. Then the news that changed everything again, CANCER ! My beautiful wife suffered through 5 different surgeries,radiation ,chemo and still lived life to the fullest. She never complained or bemoaned her lot in life,and worried more about me than herself.  I will honor her memory by trying to be the best person I can be.
