Born in Akron, Ohio on February 1st, 1938. A veteran of the US Navy, Air 2nd Class PO Electrician. Andy worked as an electrician with Firestone Tire and Rubber. He was a retired Akron City firefighter for over 23 years. He volunteered a lot of his time at the Green Youth Football Field and the Green All Sports Booster Club. He volunteered at Edwin Shaw Hospital after having a successful recovery himself.

Some clubs he participated in were the American Legion, Moose Lodge, Turkeyfoot Sportsman Club, and the Police and Fire Retirees of Ohio. Andy's hobbies included studying the bible, world history, and researching family genealogy. He loved spending time and telling stories with his family and friends. He was passionate in his faith and church, Grace Lutheran.

Preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Mary Louise Klein, and by his parents Katherine and Andrew Klein. He is survived by his brother Jimmy and Pat Klein and sister-in-law Elizabeth Dinie. Also by his three sons, Daniel, Dean and Tina, and Keith and Lisa; grandchildren, Dawn, Brook, Philip, Brittany, Jennifer, Jeffrey, Brandi and Keirsten; great-grandchildren Kayla, Mia and Mason.

Calling hours will be Saturday at 1 pm, with service following at GRACE LUTHERAN, 327 Avenue C SE Winter Haven Florida 33880. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Grace Lutheran Church. (863) 293-8447.
