In Memory of Angela Cuevas
April 17, 1952 - September 11, 2016
Angela Calle Cuevas, 64, passed away peacefully on September 11, 2016 as a result of Alzheimer’s. A beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, her light and warmth will be missed by many. Born in Arequipa Peru, she moved to Puerto Rico at age five with her mother and fours siblings. Immigrating to the USA at twelve years old she settled in Orange County. After attending California State Fullerton she became a social worker for the County of Orange. She met the love of her life, Steve, and married in 1984. She soon retired after the birth of her first child Sean in 1987 and second child Stephanie in 1989.
Bargain shopper, impressive cook, community leader, socialite and devoted Mother; Angela loved the company of her friends and family. In addition to traveling the world with Steve, she loved dancing, going to the theater, and singing in her Church’s Choir. Above all, the biggest joy of her life was being a Mother. Angela devoted her time to encouraging, guiding, and advocating for her children and their peers.
Angela is survived by her husband, Steve, her two children Sean and Stephanie, two step children Glenn and Will, brother Alphonso, sisters, Sylvia, Teri and Diana, four grandchildren, many nieces/nephews and lots of friends.

We thought of you with Love today
but that was nothing new.
We thought about you yesterday,
and days before that too.
We think of you in silence,
We often speak your name.
Now all we have are memories,
and your picture in a frame.
Your memory is our keepsake,
with which we'll never part.
God has you in his keeping, we have you in our heart.
After Glow
I'd like the memory of me
to be a happy one.
I'd like to leave an afterglow
of smiles when life is done.
I'd like to leave an echo
whispering softly down the ways,
of happy and laughing times
and bright and sunny days.
I'd like the tears of those who grieve,
to dry before the sun
of happy memories that I leave
when life is done.
Please leave photos, stories, and memories for family and friends to enjoy.
If you would like to contact the family, please email Stephanie at scuevas45@gmail.com
