Angela LaGail Robinson, the first child born to Martha Trammell McCurty and late Joe D. McCurty, was born April 16, 1958 in Chambers County AL. She departed this life at her residence on Saturday, October 17, 2015.

Angela accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior and united with the St. James Missionary Baptist Church, Lanett, AL, where she was a devoted member.

Gail”, as she was known to most, attended Five Points High School.

In 1976 Gail married Melvin Lewis Robinson Sr. and from that union three beautiful children were born. Gail was known by many and never met a stranger; she will mostly be remembered as the Caregiver, Maid, Babysitter, Defender and much much more.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Eugene and Mary Trammell Sr., paternal grandparents ,Jack McCurty and Rebecca Garner.

She leaves to cherish her loving children Melvin Louis Robinson Jr., LaGrange, GA, Jerry Jerome Robinson,(Lanett, AL and Joy Gail(Antoine) Robinson-Dozier, LaGrange, GA;. grandchildren, LaQuavious Robinson, Audrianna and Diamond Walker, Jarius Farrow, Jaciah Green, Jynee Dozier, Quintavias Allen, Melvunta Robinson, Tanekquaa Weaver, JaQuavious Robinson, Javarus Tewell , Startasia Robinson and Demontavious Greer; four great grandchildren, a loving and devoted mother, Martha T. McCurty, Lanett, AL ; four sisters, Kathey Joiner, LaGrange, GA, Beverlyn(Jeffery) Jackson, Freddie(Larry) Williams, Latanua Harris, Lanett, AL; two brothers, Eddie Joe McCurty ,Lanett AL, Frederick(Cassandra) McCurty ,Lafayette, AL and an array of nieces nephews, other relatives and friends.
