Today, the world lost a true master teacher, Ann Wilson. She was my Algebra II teacher at Clear Brook High School and one of the best teachers there. Between her and Ramona Griffiths, I do not know how I would have survived high school or ever had the courage to be who I am today. The world will never know how many students these two fantastic women have impacted. Mrs. G, you are NOT allowed to go anywhere anytime soon else I'll have to kick your ass myself. Each and every day in both of your honors."

She was one of those teachers that left a mark on our hearts forever. We need more teachers like her to get some of the kids today into some shape! Although this is a sad time for us, her family, and everyone who knew her, we should feel extremely blessed, proud and grateful that God allowed this wonderful woman to enter our lives, and settle into our hearts! Today the world lost an amazing friend, teacher, and leader but God gained a new Angel. I know that Mrs. Wilson is not only going to be watching down over me but over her beautiful daughter Juli, her son Jeff, and very beloved granddaughter Christina. She was an inspiration to everyone she met. She had a desire not to just teach what was to be taught in school but what we needed for life! She truly wanted us to learn, live, and lead long and successful lives. She was never afraid to share her bad experiences with us in hopes that it would help enlighten us in knowing that it all does get better in the end! She was more then a teacher and a mentor to me. She was my Best Friend for the last 15+ years. I love you Ole Lady and will always hold you near and dear to me! Fly high and be free of the pain!
Linda Enoch Praying for you and her family. That is beautiful what you wrote.
Jessica Farmer Praying for you"

Heaven has gained a most valuable Angel today. My heart is heavy as i learn of the passing of Mrs Wilson. She was an amazing Teacher and mentor. She was the kind of person that would stay after to help you in your Math classes even if she wasn't your teacher. If you had her Advisory it was because Math wasn't your strong Suit. Students would run down the hall to hug her when they saw her in the morning myself included. She was always leaning a shoulder to cry on and an ear to listen to anything you needed to get off your chest. "I only had the privilege of knowing Ann for a few years at Clear Brook. I am so fortunate to have known her. She was a very special lady. She always had a smile and a kind word for everyone, no matter how she was feeling. The angels are rejoicing today because Ann is with them. May she rest in peace, and may all of you find comfort in the coming days."
"I had the wonderful pleasure of working with Mrs. Wilson at Clear Brook. I was always so impressed by how she taught math- The most complicated problem became the simplest with Mrs. Wilson. She was an AWESOME math teacher! She loved her students. She loved the Clear Brook family. We loved Mrs. Wilson. To the family, may happy memories and the Bible’s promise at Acts 24:15 “there is going to be a resurrection” provide comfort and sustain you during this most difficult time. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Please remember that God is “close to the brokenhearted; He saves those who are crushed in spirit” (Psalm 34:18). Turn to Him in prayer and He will give you the strength and provide you with peace-“Do not be anxious over anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication along with thanksgiving, let your petitions be made known to God; and the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and your mental powers by means of Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:6, 7)"
"I have so many memories of Mrs. Wilson. She was wonderful! All of the kids at both of the schools she taught me at loved her. I sat in her room every morning senior year because I didn't have her in class. She always made us feel welcome. She was incredibly witty and had a truly wonderful soul. I am still heartbroken that she has passed, but I am so happy that she is at peace."
"I remember you had a particularly bad fall and was pretty banged up. I asked you what happened and you said your dog's had tripped you up. You had not put out your hands to break your fall. So we practiced getting your hands out to catch your fall. And then we just laughed at how silly we were being. I think we did that for a week or 2. Just one of the fun memories I have of you."
"I didn't know Mrs. Wilson, but knowing her daughter Juli, I can only imagine what a wonderful mother, teacher, and woman she must have been. My thoughts and prayers are with Juli, Christina, and Jeff, for comfort and peace, healing of their broken hearts, and to impart to them that their mother and grandmother will be waiting for them in God's Kingdom with open arms. She is ALWAYS with you Juli, in your heart and in your memories."
"I wish I had the words to express how much I loved, respected and admired my dear friend and colleague. She has touched so many lives and was an inspiration to students, teachers, friends and family. My favorite memory was a quote that Ann and I always had posted in our classrooms, “Dear God, please put your arm over my shoulder and your hand over my mouth.”"
"Mrs Wilson you were such a great teacher and a wonderful person you will be missed."
"Sweet Ann! I swear that workroom for just loved you! There wasn't a day that it didn't give you a walloping hug :-) Even after you retired, seeing you walk into the workroom being hit by the door seemed like a given!
And when you came back to sub, it was like being next to a Rockstar. Kids running down the hall, screaming your name. You are still so loved and remembered."
"I had the fortune to have Mrs. Wilson's class as a freshman at Clear Brook, and I know without a doubt my high school experience would not have been nearly the same without her. From freshman year on, I got to school 30 minutes early every day for my "Mrs. Wilson time", where we would just talk and she would impart her amazing energy and wisdom. She was my "school mom", and I knew that she would always be there with a smile and words of encouragement. She made a truly indelible impact on my life, and I know that I am a better person for having had the opportunity to know her and learn from her. She will be greatly missed."
"I didn't get the opportunity to work with Ann for long, but however short of a period that was, it was enough to always remember her. She was the kind of person one strives to be your entire life, and the one whose personality confirms that it does get better, that life is beautiful and that you CAN positively impact someone's life. Thank you, Ann."
"I never told you what our morning talks and prayers meant to me. I hope you knew. You were such an inspiration to me, and I will always hold you in my heart."
"I don't think I ever saw Ann without a smile on her face. She and my husband were both from Trussville, Alabama, so we immediately had something in common. We both had difficulties in raising our children and spent many mornings before school started in prayer together."
"Such a time to celebrate wonderful lives. I just came from my nieces funeral who died on Feb. 3. Now I am hearing about Ann, talk about celebrating beautiful lives. Ann, was the kindest, loving, caring, sharing, beautiful inside and out, fantastic teacher, amazing lady I had the pleasure of getting to know while at Brook. I was so thankful that my daughter Shauna was able to have her as a teacher. She is one teacher in Shauna's life that she and I always would talk about with such heart felt love. There are so many people that you come across in years of working for a district but there will be only a very few that you will hold dearly in your heart. Ann, will be forever in my heart. I thank God for the blessing of being able to know this angel. God bless her, her family, and the ones that will hurt now that she is gone. She is now at peace with our Lord. Love you, Ann."
"I love you mom.....so much!"
