A native of Cusseta, GA born on December 28, 1937, Miss Banks was the daughter of the late Albert L. Sr and Berthena Hollis Banks.
After over 40 years of service, she retired from Tyson Foods. She was a former member of Bethel A.M.E. Church in Buena Vista, GA and currently a member of Nazareth Baptist Church in Columbus. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Albert L. Banks, Jr.
Surviving are two sons, Donnell Banks(Tommise) and Jeffery Banks(Deborah); one daughter, Karen Terrell(Rufus);six grandchildren, Natasha, Whitney, Joseph, Tikeya, Adria and Everett; three great grandchildren, Kamron, Teyana and Kayden; two brothers, Elzie Banks and Edmond Banks; two sisters, Imogene Banks and Berlene Thomas; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
