I am so sorry for your loss. I remember her from many years ago.
Annie Belle Meadows Garrett, 91, a longtime resident of Granville County passed away Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at her home.
A native of Orange County, she was daughter of the late Jessie Cole and Janie Gates. Annie was of the Baptist Faith and was retired as an Attendant Supervisor at John Umstead Hospital in Butner.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, October 21, 2017 at South Granville Memorial Gardens in Stem by Rev. Lemar Wheeler.
Surviving are a son, William Terry Garrett of the home; her grandson, Chris Garrett of Butner; a niece, Evelyn Ruth Laws Berry of Caldwell and two nephews. She was preceded in death by two sons, Johnnie Garrett, Jr. and James Garrett.

Sorry to hear of your mother's passing. She was such a sweet lady. You and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers. Your mother and my mother were very close cousins and loved each other very much. I can hear my mother and Annie talking about the old times sharing their golden memories.
