Nda Stanley,
                  Condolence Message
Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, who died and victoriously rose from dead! The sad news of the death of Anthony Chukwuemeka Eke, popularly known as TN Maryson, your younger brother at the prime of his life was received with great shock and devastation. I am quite certain that his death is inevitably a huge and irreparable loss to you and to the rest of the family. Please accept my deep and sincere condolences and extend same to your mother and siblings. May God comfort you and the rest of the family at this critical time of grief. Be rest assured of my constant prayers for the peaceful repose of Anthony on the one hand, and on the other hand, for you and the rest of the family to bear the loss with fortitude.

We immensely thank God for all the blessings he received while he was alive which he generously shared with us. TN Maryson was well known and very close to my family as a brother and a family friend. I recalled when my family was bereaved, he greatly supported us with prayers and comforting presence. His brotherly care and concern as well as words of encouragement during those difficult moments were certainly a significant relief to my family. TN toiled day and night to adequately provide for his beloved mother and other family members. He was so selfless and generous that he happily shared whatever he had with family members and friends. He shared his talents, knowledge and faith through writing. TN faithfully served his God and humanity through his active involvement and dedication to various religious organizations in the Catholic Church, including Catholic Charismatic Renewal of Nigeria (CCRN), Marian Slave of Love (Legion of Mary and Confraternity of Mary Queen of All Heart), Altar Knights, and Choir.

The death of a committed and practicing catholic like Anthony is not an annihilation but is rightly viewed and celebrated as a transformation of life. The preface for Christian Death notes: “Lord, for your faithful people life is changed, not ended.” We are also comforted by the words of Wisdom that, “the souls of the virtuous are in the hands of the Lord, no torment shall ever touch them.” (Wis. 3:1).

Our brother Anthony, tirelessly sought to please God and to do His will, while he was alive but may have in one way or the other missed the mark due to human frailty, may you forgive him and not punish him for his wrong-doing. May you also make him worthy to say like St. Paul, “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith… and now (what) is reserved for me is the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will give to me on that day….” (2Tim 4:7-8).
Eternal rest grant unto him o Lord. And let perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace. Amen.

Sincerely yours in Christ,
Josephine Okere (On behalf of the Family of Late Mr. & Mrs. Benjamin Okere)
