Arnold Leonard Peterson was born prematurely on March 14, 1919 to Carl Johan Leonard Peterson and Sigrid Emilia Peterson at their home on Elm Street in Easton, Massachusetts. He was their second child as well as their first and only son.
        Arnold only lived for a few hours, passing away at 11 A. M., four hours after being born. His death was the result of a malformed heart. He was buried later on that same day in the family plot in South Easton Cemetery, South Easton, Massachusetts.
