Born August 5, 1924 in Castlewood he was the son of the late Willam and Bessie Bartle Duncan. He retired from U.S. Steel National Tube as a foreman in shipping. He served in WWII with the army from 1943-1945  he participated in the invasion on D-Day and continued into Germany. he was a true family man survived by his loving wife E. Louise Duncan whom he married on May 10, 1946. One son and daughter in law, Arthur D and Shari Duncan. Five grandchildren who loved him dearly Doug Duncan, Darcy Duncan Hollerman, Diane Duncan, Danielle Duncan and Deborah Duncan Twentier. Sixteen Great Grandchildren Brandy, Erin, Tyler Duncan, Mathew, Nicholas, Megan Hollerman, Charlie, Colt, Sammy, Rachel Allen, Ashley, Kimberly Walter, Joey, Skyler Rubcic, Anthony Ayres and Xander Twentier. He is also survived by one sister Helen Dean and one brother Raymond Duncan. He is proceeded in death by his parents three brothers and two sisters.
