I miss you

July 15, 2013

I will always remember my granpa, he was such a good person. He gave and gave all he had. He did deserve better then he had it, but he is in a better place now. I will always remember hen I was little he would come home from work and give me kittkats or other random candys he bought for me. I will also remember the puzzles we built together. I will forever remember how great he was and forever will be missed.

Little Arite

November 22, 2012

I remember living on the first floor on Pierpont Street in Peabody around 1972 and hearing little Artie run up and down the side of the house like a little boy does... he was so cute... the accident was not long after that... I didn't know big Artie and Faye very well but I knew little Artie and his sister a little bit... He was a perfect little boy. God bless!

Memories of my Dad...

September 23, 2012

When I was 12 years old...I asked my Dad if he would buy me a guitar.  He said that he would if I could sing the song "I'm Sorry" Brenda Lee (he loved her).   I practiced and practiced and finally felt I was ready...lol  I sang the song for him and he said, "If I close my eyes its like Brenda Lee is in my livingroom".  And the very next week he gave me my  guitar.  I never really did learn how to play it, but I did strum on it all the time.  I didn't really sound exactly like Brenda Lee that day, but my Dad and biggest supporter made me feel I could.  Thank you Dad.  <3

I was 10 years old and just lost my mother and lil brother in a tragic car accident...my Dad sat and played my favorite game, Monopoly, for three days straight.  We only breaked for bathroom breaks, food and sleep.  It was the best Daddy time ever!  Love you Dad...♥

For as long as I can remember Dad always wore flannel shirts and jeans which made it extremely easy to shop for him...lol —

Memories of my Dad...

Sunday drives to nowhere...we would drive with the radio up and singing every song at the top of our lungs!  Sometimes we would pick up a hitch hiker and bring them to their destination.  Dad had a big heart!

Memories of my Dad...

Dad use to work as a partsman at Auto City and he would occasionally take me and my brother to work with him.  Those days were so great!  We got to help count nuts and bolts for inventory...and we would make things out of all the empty boxes there.  And Dad still managed to get things done...lol

Memories of my Dad...

Dad had to take the belt to my butt three times in my life...once for smoking...once for skipping school and once for stealing.  Needless to say I didnt do those things again or at least didnt get caught.  But I would take the spankings anyday if it meant I didnt have to see the disappointment in his eyes.  Those times really did hurt him more than they hurt me.  I always strived to not disappoint him and more often than not, I suceeded. Thank you Dad for caring enough to teach me right from wrong.

Memories of my Dad...

Dad took me to my first concert when I was eleven years old.  It was at the old Boston Gardens and the bands name was "Yes"...the light show was awesome!  My Aunt Kitty and Uncle Mike were there too and it was a really good time!  Dad loved music and shared it with me in almost everything we did.

grampy arty

September 14, 2012
A long as i can remember there was grampy Arty. I remember he stayed with my sister and i every new years eve...we would order Chinese food and play monopoly till our eyes couldn't stay open any more. We always stayed up way past our bed time......every Christmas eve he would sleep on the couch in the living room to make sure Santa could get in ok....in the morning my dad would make him coffee and he would watch Liz and i open our presents. We would always get him pants and flannel shirts. We would always have a $50 bill in a card to spend on anything we wanted from him.....that was the most money we had ever seen :) he always smiled...and my mom has his same smile. He loved us so much.....as we got older life got busy and time was lost but not forgotten. I remember my last times with him...he still looked happy...how could he not...it wasn't in his nature. He loved spinach pie! He couldn't get enough! ...i love him so much...he was great...and an amazing guy who brought up and amazing woman :) i will always remember the good times......never forgot...he rests peacefully now with all the loved ones we have lost. Xoxo much
