Arthur Ray Martin, 66, a longtime resident of Granville County passed away Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at his home.

A native of Caswell County, the son of the late William Henry Martin Sr. and Lois Davis Martin. He was of the Baptist faith and owner of B&M Auto Body until his retirement.

Graveside services will be held at a later date.

Surviving are his wife of forty-eight years Virginia Aiken Martin of Creedmoor, his daughter, Deborah Martin Wright of Wilton, two sisters, Shirley Duncan of Timberlake, Pam Harrington of Broadway, four brothers, Cecil Martin of Wilson, William Martin and Dennis Martin both of Sanford and Ronnie Martin of Lillington, two grandchildren, Harley Wright and Chris Cornett. He was preceded in death by a grandson Bryan Lee Wright and his sister Marie Pruitt.
