Atinuke  Adetokunbo Oluwadara Ajoke (Oriki) Ademuwagun was born May 2, 1968 in Berkeley, California to Professor Zacchaeus Akingbade Ademuwagun and Mrs. Olujoke Abosede Ademuwagun (nee Popoola).

In 1969, Tinu returned to Nigeria with her parents. There, she started nursery and primary school education at Staff School University of Lagos. In 1972, her father was transferred to Ibadan and Tinu continued her primary education at Staff School, University of Ibadan. At Staff school, Tinu was very gifted in sports and well loved by her peers. She would come home every year with certificates in many events. Tinu successfully passed her common entrance in primary 5 at the age of 9 and gained admission to St. Anne's Secondary School, Ibadan, as a boarder.

Tinu was a daddy's girl. It was obvious from the first day when she was dropped off on a Sunday to start boarding school at St. Anne's that she was not going to be there for long, because her dad kept going back every day for the first two weeks to ensure his baby was okay. Three years later, daddy ensured Tinu was transferred to the International School, University of Ibadan, where she completed her secondary education.

After her secondary school education, Tinu attended City and East London College in England and later moved to Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania USA, where she successfully completed and obtained a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a major in accounting in 1994. She continued her professional training at Arthur Anderson until 1998 when she decided to return to Nigeria to pursue her entrepreneurial gift in marketing and retail.

Following in her mother's entrepreneurial footsteps, Tinu became the founder of Footprint Business Venture. She started off with two stores in Balogun, Lagos and a boutique on Awolowo Road, Ikoyi, Lagos, Nigeria. She later carved out a unique niche for herself in the market in selling ladies shoes, handbags and accessories. She later moved her business to the Lafayette Mall on Sanusi Fafunwa Street, Victoria Island, Lagos. Tinu had clients in Europe, North America and some African Countries. Tinu was very successful in all that she set out to accomplish.

Tinu was a rare gift to her family, friends and all who were blessed to know her. Tinu lived and enjoyed life to its fullest. Even in sickness and pain, she continued to smile, always giving loved ones, family, and friends the assurance that all will be well. Her kind nature and spirit was known to anyone she met. Tinu was always willing to give and help others and loved to make people happy. In the past few years, Tinu grew closer to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ where she was able to draw uncommon strength to fight against cancer and also to encourage others who were going through a similar ordeal.

Tinu, as she is fondly referred to by friends and family was the second child of five siblings. Tinu was truly the epitome of motherhood to many that encountered her when she walked this earth.

May her gentle soul continue to rest in perfect peace.

Tinu will always be remembered as being selfless and kind. A fashionista, entrepreneur, leader, mentor, kindhearted and selfless daughter, sister, aunt, and woman of God - Tinu shall be greatly missed.
