Dad was always a fan of the show "Cops" and anything law enforcement related.  Growing up he'd harrass me, or so I thought, to become a cop.  He wanted to have a son that was into some of the stuff that he was into.  I refused and then I showed him.  I showed him by joining the US Navy.  I had no idea what I was getting myself into.... then 9/11/01 happened and for the first time I realized what a mistake I had made.  My dad, on the other hand, couldn't be any happier or more proud to have his son, his only son, be in the military serving for our country.  He'd brag to all the neighbors and to family- hell, I'm sure he'd brag to just about anyone he'd see.  So although, I didn't become the cop that he wished for- at least I gave him that.. even though to me I thought I was doing the opposite.  My biggest fan, the man that loved me unconditionally, the man that accepted me and everything that I believed in... my dad.
