Her Life

Your girls Nov. 1, 2011

November 2, 2011

The girls got a new puppy this week, we thought of naming it Flower or Thumper because we wanted a physical connection to you. But we thought that may not be the thing to do, so Angela named it Luigi. It's cute a buttton with the same color of hair you had we you were little. It's a Japanese Chin, Alyssa said she wanted a puppy that never grows up so that she can hold it in her lap always.

The girls are doing great in school. I'm sure your very proud of them as I am. Alyssa was a beautiful Bride for halloween and Angela dressed up as a ladybug and gave out candy holding her puppy. Alyssa seems to be making alot of friends here, she was invited to a sleepover at a hotel and swam all night, maybe some of it anyway. We're going to have her birthday early this year so that her new friends can come before school lets out. she wants to go to the Bowling Alley for her party. I not so sure about Angela, but I know she's been talking to you too. She always says how her momma taught her to be strong, but I think she needs to let some of it out too!

I miss you baby, and so does Poppy and the girls! I try and be strong but sometimes I have to go out to my swing late at night and cry my eyes out. I get some howling from neighboring dogs but I hope I no one hears me except for you. Eveynite I tell you that I love you and send you kisses, did you get them? Oh how I wish I knew that you do. I feel like I'm dying inside without you Honey, help keep me strong mentally and with my health. Keep listening Baby cause I'll be talking to you, and I'll wait for a sign from you. Love you, Mom

My first child-Bambi Kay

September 17, 2011

I gave birth to Bambi when I was 15 years old. I doted on her, she was the love of my life and still is today! I have a picture of her and I painting her belly with watercolor paints because she got some on her so we just continued on. We had so much fun!  On her first birthday I made her a cake that came out horrible so we ran out and bought her a white coconut cake that she loved!

I remember the first teacher conference from kindergarten, the teacher had her to read to me. Boy was I surprised, I didn't know she could read! That year she came home singing a silly naughty song, I asked her who taught her that song, she said her teacher, WHAT! She said no mommy my friend did.

When she was 12, she wanted her bangs feathered, I told her no because she had straight hair and it wouldn't look good till she learned to use a curling iron. Her dad let her do it anyway, it didn't look good until the next year in Jr. high school, when she started curling it.

At her High school graduation, I was told by her that she didn't like the dress I wore because it looked like a granny's dress. Maybe the big flowers on it was a bit much! But I was so proud that she graduated! She had big plans on becoming a Lawyer, I so wished that she was able to make that dream come true. She would of been a GREAT one!

Bambi had a hard life, I'm sorry to say, but I did what I could at the time. But she did her best to make up for it to her girls. She did what she could and knew that Mike and I was there for her always! She and the girls had my husband Mike wrapped around their little finger. He loves them all of them so much, as if they were his own.

I'm so proud of her for the loved she shared to her friends and customers at Festival Foods. One gentleman named Sam, came up to me at her services and told me how she always joked with him and made his day!  And for her high school friends to keep in touch with her all these years and still love her is just so heartfelt to me!

Bambi was a beautiful person through and through. She always had a nice word to anyone she ever spoke to. As I found out she has many friends that she cared about and loved, that's why I could never get her to move to St. Louis to be near me. I don't blame her, her friends are wonderful and has helped her girls and me so very, very much with her passing.

Please leave your memories of her or pictures, as this makes me closer to her. This will be our only link to her as the time goes by. I will be updating this site as much as my heart can stand. The girls will be here also.

We love and miss you so much Honey, may you rest in peace and watch over us and guide us. The girls are in good hands and are loved as much as you are!

Hug and Kisses from your mama & girls!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
