I contacted Barbara a few years ago and got to talk with her on several occasions. We were distant cousins. Our Great Grandparents Georgia Johnson Moore Hardin and Anna Lucille Johnson Moore were sisters who married Moore brothers. Double cousins you would call us. We exchanged pictures and passed the time about talking about the olden days. Though I never had met her in person, I feel like she was so much of a kindred spirit. Both us dealt with Diabetes (runs in the Johnson Family). I am so sorry to read of her passing. I miss talking to her but know she is in a great place beyond! My continued prayers go out to the family. God Bless you all!

We remember you every day Miss Barbara but today signifies one year ago, hearts were heavy and eyes flooded with tears as God called you home. Today as I sit here with your daughter, we laugh and remember you fondly. We look at your pictures when you were younger and admire your beauty. I have adopted your dear dog Peppe La Pew & he is happy as can be. I promise you that your daughter will always have a roof over her head and Peppe will never go without food, vet care or love for the rest of his days. Watch over us from heaven with Gerry & David & my father. Until we meet again, rest in peace sweet lady.

Who could ever forget such a beautiful woman.  My heart smiles at the very thought of her sitting in her kitchen making me laugh. I admired her beauty and the love she had for her family is an inspiration. Her life lives on through her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and my life is blessed to have them in my life.
