you are missed by many but you have never been forgotten I have a bird bath in my yard that reminds me of you every day wished you were still here with us but god called you home with him a year ago today
Barry Michael Morris, 37, a lifetime resident of Granville County, passed away Sunday, March 25th 2012.
A native of Granville County, the son of the late Bobby Roger Morris. He was of the Baptist faith and was involved in the Construction business.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, March 28, 2012 in the Eakes Funeral Chapel in Oxford by Dr. Randy Pittman and Rev. Keith Williams. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery.
Surviving are two sons, Michael Russell Morris of Virgilina, VA, Lucas Franklin of Henderson, his mother Wanda S. Blanks of Oxford, his grandmother, Thelma B. Morris and two nieces, Arien and Nevaeh.
Visitation will be held from 7:00 – 8: 30 PM, Tuesday evening, March 27, 2012 at the Eakes Funeral Home in Oxford and other times at the home of his mother.
Omission of flowers is requested and memorials may be made to Providence Baptist Church Youth Department, c/o Rosa Overton, 3039 Shady Grove Road, Oxford, North Carolina 27565 or United Hospice, 301 South Church Street, Suite 122, Rocky Mount, North Carolina 27804.
Eakes Funeral Home, Inc. in Oxford assisting the Morris family.

Barry Morris you were a good friend and a caring person that always made me laugh when i was around you.you always called me cat mama and i will always miss you calling me that in that funny way you would say it .we all had some good times togather and talks when you were down and out and when i was down you always encourged me to not to worry about things. Barry,you Donna and Bobby will always have a special place in my heart and you will never be forgotten.Rest in peace my friends and we will see you someday soon so untill then rest high on that mountain.I will always love you all.
