OUR MOMMY.
Mom was born in 1949, in Kairo village in Murang'a county. Her parents, The late Musa Gikonyo and the late Dorcas Nduta Gikonyo. She was a sister to Newton Gikore, Andrew Watiki, Elishiba Wami Kimani, Rachel Nyambura Muraya, the late Zakayo Gathatwa, the late WabuchwaGikonyo, Jonah Mwangi, Gerishon Kihato, and the Late Janet Wangechi Gikonyo.
Mom met and fell in love with her beloved future husdand James Mugo Kaboi (our late Dad) in 1969. They were blessed with seven children. Jennifer Wambui, Eunice Nduta, the late Patricia Wangari, Elishiba Wami, Faith Muthoni, Rachael Nyambura and Leah Wangechi.
Mom graduated with a degree in typing and worked at a flour company in Embakasi as a secretary. She later on retired and when back to her farm so she can takecare of her children and just being a mom..
Mom was a devoted Christian, who dedicated her life to serving the Lord. She was a member of St Andrews ACK church in Kairo. She accepted the Lord as her personal Saviour in 1974.
She left behind six children, ten grandchildren namely: James Mugo, Rachel Njoki, Stacey Wanjiku, Beatrice Wanjiku (shiku) Beatrice Wanjiku (Bitty) Beatrice Wanjiku (Betty) Adrian Maina, Aiden Mugo, Elsie Waitherero, Myles James and two Great Grandchildren namely: Angel and Lesley Nduta.
