Tributes
Leave a tributeWe want to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude to each and every one of you for your unwavering support in every aspect of our journey here at Shise and Ageba’s Children’s Foundation (SACF). Your spiritual guidance, emotional encouragement, physical assistance, and financial contributions have been invaluable to me, and my brother and I are truly grateful for your generosity and kindness.
We are especially grateful to those of you who have been instrumental in keeping my beloved father’s memory and legacy alive. Your dedication to supporting "The Benedict Alagh Terkula (BAT) Memorial School," where 250 children receive full scholarships through our foundation is nothing short of inspiring. Your commitment to education and empowerment is changing lives and shaping futures, creating a future for these children who up till now could not get access to good education, and we are so thankful for your efforts.
Thank you for your continued love, support, and belief in our mission. May GOD continue to bless each and every single one of your families.
With heartfelt appreciation,
Shise and Ageba Alagh.
Roseline, Shise and Ageba continue to make your memory and your lagacy beautiful
I can’t believe it’s been this long.
Twelve years have passed since you left my world, yet your spirit remains eternally alive in my heart. Today, I write not to mourn the loss, but to celebrate the beautiful tapestry of memories you gifted me.
Your laughter echoed joy, your kindness touched souls, and your friendship was a beacon of warmth. Through the years, your absence has been felt, but so too has the enduring impact of your presence.
As I reflect on the times we shared, I am reminded of the lessons you taught me – to embrace life with passion, to cherish every moment, and to be a source of light for others. Your legacy lives on in the stories we tell, the traditions we uphold, and the love that continues to bind us.
Though you are physically distant, the bond we share transcends the boundaries of time and space. Today, I honor you with gratitude for the indelible mark you left on my live. In my heart, you remain a cherished friend and brother, a guiding star in the vastness of my memories.
Rest peacefully, dear friend. Your spirit is forever embedded in the fabric of my lives.
The Children in BAT memorial schools are blessed to have GOD watching over them because you planted good seeds.
Rest in Peace Angel Ben.
- Ageba
May Your children continue to give you joy and make us all proud.
May the memory of our friend, Benedict Terkula always be a blessing
Your legacy lives on and recently marked a year of giving back through nurturing our futures leaders.
Another year has passed by, and memories of you have continued.
I may have said it here before, and I say it again; the most 'ordinary', everyday things regularly remind me of you. An airplane in the sky (and Kaduna Airport where you once worked!), a song on the radio (from Tracy Chapman's 'Baby Can I Hold You', to Handel's Halleluiah Chorus), Nigeria's Independence Day anniversary (you loved Nigeria with a deep passion, and did all that you could to contribute to her progress and prosperity. I am so glad and thankful to God to see these qualities of selflessness and generosity of spirit continually being expressed through Shise, Ageba and your jewel, Roselyn).
It is pleasant to remember your easy smile. Your generosity. Your gentle spirit. Your deep intellect. Your friendliness.
We will continue to remember you.
Rest on in perfect peace Ben.
It’s been what, eleven or twelve years since you died? I miss you so much and I hope you know that we are okay now. I really wish you were here with us, but you had greater things to do in heaven. Fly high dad.

Beckett happens to be our favourite movie. We have watched it over and over again. I have never brought myself to watch it since your demise until today because I want my children to learn the lessons in the movie.
It brought back alot of memories. Rest on my brother and friend, you are truly missed.
Happy post humous birthday my Oga!

How time flies. Today we would have been another opportunity to clink glasses on your birthday. However, I know you are in a place where there is no measure of time, and every day is celebrated with a chant to the one who sits on the throne and rules over the affairs of men. Ben continue to rest in peace, Amen
Happy Birthday my HERO
Till we meet my love, Keep praying us down here.
Continue to rest in perfect peace Ben.
Already, you are in the 11th year of your life on the other side.
So, you live on, there. But even in this realm, we continue to remember you. Your life continues in the memories you created during your sojourn here. The memories others, including me, retain in the closest, dearest, and most cherished parts of our beings - our hearts, souls, and minds. Those bits of us that will last and outlast the mortal components of who we are.
Your lights shine on and Shise and Ageba are True Torchbearers. They so admirably hold aloft the brilliant, bellowing brightness of the light of you. And so does Radiant Roselyn, your Precious Amazon. They are indeed the worthiest of your worthy legacies.
The heart still aches, even after all this time. But also, the heart smiles.
So, each time I hear some music that reminds me of you, I will smile, whistle, snap my fingers, and maybe do a little dance. I will remember you with a smile. And I will thank God for you and the privilege to have known you.
It's the 11th of March, and relentlessly, on marches Time…
On this day and always I remember you boss, mentor and friend. Continue to Rest In Peace.
Sometimes I'd have vivid recollections
of your wise counsel and unbiased encouragement.
Those were jewels you shared before your great
transition.
God bless your beautiful soul.
He may no longer be with us physically, but his legacy lives on.

Please be patient.

GOD’s Angel
I can’t believe it’s 8 years since you left Mother Earth. Wow how time flies. The children are amazing and keeping me on my toes .
Loads of Happy memories have kept me strong throughout these difficult years. The GRACE OF GOD ALMIGHTY has been with us every step of the way and I wouldn’t have survived this long if not for GOD’s AWESOME LOVE over us.
I miss the roses , pampering, fresh poems ......... but I would never trade the precious years we shared.
You were far wiser, too wise beyond your age and am glad some of that robbed of on me . I keep hearing remarkable things from old friends and sometimes strangers who testify you mentored them.
My Angel you live in our hearts forever.
My dad
Daddy is so funny and I will never forget his amazing love to me and my brother. I am now 8 and I have an answer to my 5 year question. Daddy went because God called him and freed him from all iniquity and pain.
Also, this year on Daddy’s birthday we lit a candle to remind us of how we used to play together.
Rest In Peace.
