"How do you describe a friendship that has lasted over 65 years. I will miss my dear friend Bernie more that words can say but am happy to have so many wonderful memories. My heart goes out to all the family and friends who loved her and will miss her but are happy to know that she is finally at peace."
"Aunt Bernie was always the stylish aunt whose home and clothes were tres chic. I remember the gatherings at her home, the split level one, where everything matched and coordinated. I remember coming to her cute condo after she was alone, going through all her photos to prepare a video for the family reunion in the Dells. Her sense of humor, her love for her kids, her vitality and smile."
Our heart goes out to you and your family. We are thinking of you.
Love, Brian and MaryAnn"
"Cookie Grandma: I just wanted to say I really miss you. I'm sorry I never spent more time with you. I will never forget going to see Wicked with you on Broadway - and visiting Marshall Fields one last time before it was Macy's. I hope you are with Grandpa Larry and find peace & comfort with him. I caught myself looking at my baby book & you were in so many of the pictures. Miss you. R.I.P."
"I didn't know your mother, but I'm sure I would have liked her. She raised a daughter who's strong and wise, whose friendship I value and whose good sense of humor has saved the day more than once. Hand to the screen Kim -- thinking of you and your family. xoxo"
"I will miss you Mom but I am relieved that you are not laying in bed all day and night. I hope you are finally at peace! I Love you, Laurie"
