Tributes
Leave a tributeMay your soul continue to remain in peace.
Mathias.
You and I were very closed during our university days and post university days in Yaounde. You were a smooth going guy, soft spoken and spoke less but each time you utter something, one could tell you were a witty guy.
The Almighty God determines our course of events irrespective of man's wishes. When dead comes knocking there is nothing we can do but answer the door. While I wait for a knock at my door, I hope you are preparing a place for me when we meet again.
Stay well brother in your divine being.
Benedict Akeh.
Your Brother
Mathias Awundaga
I love you. Your sister, Irene.
Its hard to believe its a year since you left us. You were such a gentle and sweet spirit, full of humility, full of respect for your seniors and juniors alike. I never heard you pull up an argument with anyone. Peace was your hallmark. HAPPY BIRTHDAY bro, and may your wonderful self rest in peace for ever.
May the family you left behind find the kind of peace and tranquility you always stood for.

I will miss you greatly. As my first brother, we did a lot of fun things in the 70s. Everyone admired you and your sense of humor since then till when you departed. Everyone noticed you recent focus on the things of God just before he called you. May He take you in H? Mathias
not a moment where I was with him, and he did not talk to me about life or school. He always stressed that education and work were the keys to life, and I thank him for that. He will be missed. Love, Your Nephew, Vernon Aziah
U will be sorely missed. Icons will be mimicked but never replaced. Ben was ever so soft-spoken but the few times he spoke, he spluttered words of wisdom far beyond his time. Que la terre de nos ancêtres te soit légère.

I knew you way back in PSS Mankon as one of my 'Bigs' and you have hardly changed when it comes to your person. You were full of humility, peace loving, and of few words. You never raise your voice at anyone even at us your 'Smalls'. What a shame you have to leave us this soon. May your gentle soul rest in eternal peace. Stanlo
