Berta's family will be holding a memorial service to celebrate her life. Please consider joining us…

When: March 23, 2014 from 3:00 p.m. until 4:30 p.m.
Where: Heritage Park in the Fountain Room.

The park has a $1.50 per person entry fee on weekends. If you RSVP with your name, address, and number of attendees we will provide you with entry passes. Please respond by March 1, 2014 to ensure you receive your passes.

Contributions:

Some have been asking if there is some way that they can contribute. We are asking those who wish to do so, to make dontations in her name to the Cancer Research Institute. The Cancer Research Institute is the world's only nonprofit organization dedicated exclusively to harnessing the immune system's power to conquer all cancers.

BIRDY, WE JUST GOT TO ROUNDUP LAST WEEK, JULY 11, AND FOUND OUT THAT YOU HAD PASSED AWAY. WHAT A BLOW TO MY HUSBAND AND I! THEN I LOOK ON THIS MEMORIAL AND SEE OUR PICTURE WITH YOU AT ROUNDUP. I AM THE ONE IN THE YELLOW SWEATER WITH YOU AND MY HUSBAND DAVE. WHAT A SHOCK. WELL, YOU HAVE NOT BEEN FORGOTTEN. YOU WILL ALWAYS BE IN OUR HEARTS. MY HUSBAND ALWAYS SAID THAT HE WAS GONNA RUN AWAY WITH YOU...AS A JOKE...AND GO ON A HONEYMOON. WE WOULD ALL THREE CRACK UP AT THIS..AND YOU WOULD LAUGH YOUR HEAD OFF AT HIM. Berta...There will never be a time when spinning around the dance floor that you will not cross my mind .. I loved seeing you smile, sharing my birthday with you as well as hearing you call me the Dancing Angel .. You are truly missed we definitely have an angel with us at the Roundup

Always watching you dance was an inspiration. Though I didnt know you personally I felt as though I did from seeing you all the time at RoundUp. You were amazing. I wish I knew all the dances you did and I hope to dance as long as you did. Truly beautiful. May you RIP and forever keep dancing up above. All my prayers to you and your family.

Bert, just letting you know that you are not forgotten. You seat is empty but your spirit is there. I carry a picture of you in my dance bag and when anyone ask I can whip it out and show them your smiling face. You gave us all inspiration to dance on and live long! The "blondes" say hi!
