Mrs. Betsy A. Ford, of Valley, Alabama, passed away Wednesday, September 17, 2014, at her residence. 

Funeral services for Mrs. Ford will be held Sunday, September 21, 2014 at 3:00 PM EDT from the First Baptist Church of Lanett. Reverend Ronnie Jordan will officiate.

Interment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery.

The family will greet friends Saturday evening from 6:00 PM EDT until 8:30 PM EDT at the First Baptist Church of Lanett.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in her memory to Chattahoochee Hospice or the Christian Service Center in Valley, Alabama.

This world will miss Betsy. She was a great blessing to all of us.  It made me so sad to hear of her passing. May God be ever near in this time of sorrow. You will be in my prayers.

Betsy was truly a one of a kind person. She will be sorely missed by everyone who knew her. I'm so blessed and glad that I was able to grow up with her as a friend! Go and rest with God, Betsy! I hope to join you there one day.

Loved Betsy, she was a wonderful lady. I spoke with her several times on the telephone while she was so sick and she was always so upbeat .She was one of a kind. We will miss her, but we know where she is.   Mitchell and Rose

Forrest and family, hold dearest the past and thank God for the future. God blessed you with a wonderful wife, mother, and friend. Betsy was one of the prettiest women because her light shown through her face and life. She will be sorely missed.

So sorry for your loss. Praying for the family. Betsy was the sweetest person in the world. I, and Leigh Ann Underwood Jackson, will never forget you. Leigh Ann went to Shawmut First Baptist Daycare and loved Betsy. She will be missed. May God be with you and your family, Forrest. God's grace and peace be with you all.
