We went to the Morton arboretum. It was dog day. It was beautiful there. Molly walked and met several dogs. She was so happy. William drove us around and we saw the trees. It reminded me of the forty.
I remember how much you liked it too.
Miss you.
Love, Cathy
I've been missing your laugh lately. My cat does the goofiest things that would really get you laughing for sure. My church just had a big event on Sunday, with a brass quartet that you would have loved. Love you,
Deb
We are thinking of you. Thank
you for your love, kindness and patience.
I remember the good times we had sharing a book. You teaching me to read books from early readers to Peter Pan to Little Women. I enjoyed sharing books with you.
I remember you reading to William.. He loved sitting on your lap listening to you read.. He still enjoys reading.
We enjoy the garden. Molly likes watching the birds, squirrels and rabbits. She likes walking through the garden.

We are remembering all the good times we had getting together and celebrating your birthday. I remember you reading Christmas books and sharing them. I remember when we read Little Women together. We miss you and dad.

I wonder what birthdays are like in heaven? All your favorite teams win, you're surrounded by your favorite garden flowers, you solve crossword puzzles in record time, you never lose one sock in the wash, and you win at all the board games. You get to read whenever you want, everyone's grammar is perfect. But the best part is probably that you are with Marsh and surrounded by everyone you love magically there and here at the same time. Enjoy your day, if there even are days, in heaven. Miss you Betty, Love, Deb
I get to be with my mom several times each week, and we laugh and are silly a lot. How great it would be if I could be with you and she together. I have a great memory of a bunch of us playing Pictionary once. Your word was "dot." How hard can that be, right? You very wisely and sensibly put a dot on the paper. But nobody could guess! "Point?" "Paper?" "Pencil?" I'm sure the teacher in you was in disbelief! You kept emphasizing the dot, poking it over and over, holding the paper up, and poked a huge tear in the paper as you tried to make us dumbells say "dot!" You always made me laugh so. Love you and miss you Betty.

A friend gave me two tiny tomato sprout thingies today and I just hope I can keep them alive long enough to get a tomato. You would know what to do. Miss you.

This quote perfectly describes you:
"In all things that come my way today, Lord, I am determined to choose hope. Regardless of what happened in the past, today--through you--I am strong enough to choose hope." - Author Unknown
Thank you for your superb example of never giving up hope, regardless of circumstances.
