Mrs. Betty Mackey Echols, age 80, passed away August 4, 2014 at Hospice LaGrange.

Funeral services for Mrs. Echols were conducted Thursday August 7 at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Tom Stutts & Son Funeral Home with the Rev. Mike Hornsby officiating.

The main portion of the funeral was music and farewell wishes recorded by Mrs. Echols, herself, and a last gift to family and friends.

The interment followed at New Hope Baptist Church in Heard County. Those serving as pall bearers were Stanley Traylor, Lee Traylor, Jake Traylor, James Mackey, Tommy Heflin, and Dwayne Thrash.

The family will be gathering at the home of Lee and Dana Traylor: 325 Whitaker Rd LaGrange, GA 30240.
