Mom loved to work on her craft items and looked forward to going to her craft fairs.  Because of all her hard work, we have each inherited afghans that will warm not only our bodies but our hearts as well when we remember seeing her sitting in her favorite chair with yarn and crochet needles across her lap.

She enjoyed traveling with Dad the later on with we kids whenever we were going someplace.  She was known to offer to go with me on my many treks across the state just so I wouldn't have to drive alone.  She enjoyed seeing new places and we loved being able to take her to Florida for a grandsons wedding, which is where her picture was taken.
