Her Life

Ms. Betty Joe Hall was born February 23, 1953 in Meriwether County.  She was the daughter of the late Harmon and Willie Marie Parker-Hall. 

    She attended school in Meriwether County.  She enjoyed cooking, having big Sunday Dinners for her family and anyone who wanted to come.  She was no stranger to anyone.  She loved people.  

  Betty joined Mt. Venus Baptist Church at an early age.  As life went on she moved her membership to Faith Chapel Holiness Church as she began to realize that God is real.  She had great faith in God.

    On Wednesday, January 14, 2015 the Lord came to her and said the battle is over, the victory is won, take your rest.

    She was preceded in death by four sisters, Annie W. Hall, Della Bryant, Rosa K. Hall and Sarah A. Beach; two brothers, Lamar Hall and Harmon Hall, Jr.; one son-in-law, Calvin Sullivan.  

  Betty J. Hall leaves to cherish her memories, six children, Tyrone Hall (Monica), Tony Hall of Manchester, GA, Timothy Hall (Sonya), Joe L. Adams (Yalonda) of Gay, GA, Pamela Sullivan of LaGrange, GA and Raven Hall of Manchester, GA; She raised her grandson, Timothy, Jr. as a son; two sisters, Gladys Hall of Molena, GA, Iula Durham of Greenville, GA; five brothers, Norman Hall, Willie Frank Hall of Gay, GA, Johnny Hall of Luthersville, GA, Lavarn Hall of Gay, GA, Willie F. Hall of Atlanta, GA; fourteen grandchildren; three great grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Alberta Hall of Atlanta, GA; one brother-in-law, Jessie Beach.
