Mrs. Norris was born in Sand Mountain, Alabama on February 17, 1942, the daughter of the late Myrtle Gladys Smith Brown and Ramsey Brown. Until her retirement she was a machine operator for the Uniroyal Corporation in Hogansville, Georgia. She was a Christian by faith. She loved doing all kinds of arts and crafts and had a special talent for arranging floral arrangements. Her family was the center of her world especially her grandchildren and grandchildren. She will be missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by one daughter Selena and Eric Bledsoe; son Allen Norris all of Franklin, GA.; sister, Brenda and Jim Roller of Newnan, GA.; brother, Robert Wilson also of Franklin, GA.; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Jefferson Norris.
