Her Life
December 27, 2012

Beulah Jean Reese Haynes was born in Heard County GA., to the late Carrie and Eddie B. Reese, Sr., and was the eldest of eight children. She grew up and was educated in Coweta County, GA and graduated from Central High School in 1961.

Later she moved to Atlanta where she lived for 40 plus years, was married to the late Robert L. Haynes Jr., and retired from Wachovia bank after 37 years of service. After retirement, she moved to Grantville, GA and became an active member of Greater Jehovah Baptist Church. She was a member of the Kiwanis Club and served as treasury until her death.

She was a very loving and giving person. So it is appropriate that her favorite song was “May the life I live speak for me”.

Jean as she was affectionately known was preceded in death by both parents.

She leaves to cherish her memories and life 5 sisters; Min. Annette Glanton, Carolyn Collier, Shirley Reese, Linda Clements and Synthia Reese, two brothers; Eddie B. Jr. (Mildred) and Jarvis Reese. Jean was dearly loved by her 18 nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends including special friends Ruby Hines and Sam Walton.
