Bienvenida, Sarah and Paz were among my favorite customers when they would come into my store, Exile, over the years.  I could tell that they were very close and that Bien was a firm but extremely generous and loving mother.  I never got to know them personally until Sarah got together with my brother, Isaac.  But the affection and humor that emanated from this trio always made them some of my favorite customers and I looked forward to their visits.  Later when Sarah became Isaac's girlfriend and I was fortunate enough to get to know Bienvenida, I myself got to be the recipient of her warmth and affection.  She always greeted me with such love and enthusiasm.  Even now the image of her glowing smile brings tears to my eyes.
