Lake Harding Community:  Mr. Bill Storey, 66, died Thursday, February 6, 2014, at his residence surrounded by the love of his family. 

Born Monday, February 17, 1947 in Columbus, GA to William H. Sr. and Melba Franklin Storey, Mr. Storey was a 1965 graduate of Jordan High School.  He was an avid gardener and loved planting flowers, vegetables and fruit trees with his grandchildren.  He loved the lake and all his many friends on Lake Harding.

Bill was employed with Strickland Companies and also owner with his wife of TAG's Gift Shop in Valley, AL where he met and made many friends.  He will always be remembered for his quick wit and sense of humor, along with love of his family.

Bill is survived by his wife, Rebba Spraggins Storey of Lake Harding; three children; Amanda Storey (Mike) Benson, Birmingham, Tri Bradley, Lanett and Greta (Donald) Willis, LaGrange, GA, three grandchildren; Martin Everitt Benson, Birmingham and Bradley and Jaycee Willis, LaGrange, one sister, Shirley (Jerry) Burnham, Columbus, GA and a host of nieces and nephews.
