On February 12, 2012 our lives were forever changed. Our beloved Son, Father, Brother, and Uncle William Ehrmentraut was taken from this world. Billy was a good hearted, loving, huggable man. 

Billy was walking home on the morning of February 12, 2012. Yards from his home and was hit by a vehicle from behind driven by a very careless man. This man left Billy in a ditch to die. 

For us it is hard to comprehend why bad things happen to good people.  Billy was a good person, loved by so many. His memory will be carried on through all who love him and have stories to share. 

I know he is with us in spirit. Looking down on us with a smile anxiously awaiting the day when he will see us again. In Heaven you can't measure time like we do here on Earth. "It won't be long Uncle, until you can wrap your arms around us and kiss us on the cheek with that prickly mustache."
