His Journey's Just Begun

Don't think of him as gone away-

his journey's just begun,

life holds so many facets-

this earth is only one.

Just think of him as resting

from the sorrows aand the tears

in a place of warmth and comfort

where there are no days and years.

Think how he must be wishing

that we could know today

how nothing but our sadness

can really pass away.

And think of him as living

in the hearts of those he touched...

for nothing loved is ever lost-

and he was loved so much.

Dad I miss you so much. I just wish you were here. The days are not getting any better like people said they would. I told them they wouldn't and they aren't. I wish I could see you and hear you talking to me. I can't say one more day because that won't be enough. The kids still talk about you and we all miss you so so much. We love You!

Loosing a Dad is one of the most difficult things to go through. It was not until he was gone that we realized how much you never take for granted. Our Dad made us the women and mothers we are today.

Our Dad was strong, loving, hard-working, and very caring. He loved his family and was deeply devoted to our Mom and us girls. He taught us many things growing up from building a clubhouse, to making meals for our future families. He taught us to love without limits and overcome conflicts with ease. He accomplished everything he set his mind to. He would say, never give up on your dreams. You can do what you put your mind to. That is a lesson we will cherish forever from him.

He was not only a loving Dad and husband but a wonderful grandfather. He taught our children many things from planting a flower in the garden to how to swing on the playset, also telling them it was alright to get dirty when they would cry about the dirt on their little hands.

Even at the end he was still the very strong man he always was. He hardly ever got sick. He was always tough and stuck through anything. In the end he was still the same man we loved all the years we had him in our lives. He stayed strong and loved us no matter what. We will miss him dearly, but we will be at peace knowing that he is now at peace and not hurting anymore, as he watches over us all.

Daddy you were amazing and we will all love you forever and a day. That is the promise Mommy and us girls made to you years ago and we as your children and grandchildren will continue that promise also. One day we will be the ones that have passed and we know that our children and grandchildren will cherish your memory and our memory as we cherish yours. Until we meet again, DADDY, we all love you!

Bill loved everyone he came in contact with.  He looked for the good in all that touched him.  He use to say there is good in everyone even if it isn't obvious.  I know that Bill loved me, his two beautiful daughters Melissa and Marion and his grandchildren Jazmine, Jonathon, Jessilyn, Hunter, Kaitlyn and Brenden.  He loved the fathers of his grandchildren and asked for them when he was in the hospital.  Bill wanted to see so many people before he took his last breath.  Many came and he knew they were there.  A few did not come however, I pray they know that Bill had their names on his lips and the love for them in his heart.  Bill will forever be missed.  Until I am with you again Bill I will love you with every part within me.
