Today I want to wish you a very Happy Birthday in Heaven!! We miss you Birk!
Birk Wilson Lunsford, 73, a resident of 376 Fitch Oakley Road, Rougemont, died November 8, 2010 at her resident.
A native of Granville county, the widow of Sherwood “Snook” Lunsford and the daughter of John and Rose Blair Wilson. She was a member of St. James Catholic Church in Henderson and retired from Home Care Industries.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, November 10, 2010 at St. James Catholic Church in Henderson by Father Bill Upah. Burial will in Mt. Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery.
Surviving are two sons, Dale Lunsford of Rougemont, Lynwood Lunsford (Laurie Ann) of Timberlake, seven grandchildren and a sister, Eunice W. Williford of Oxford. Nine brothers and sisters preceded her in death.
Flowers are accepted or memorials may be made Horizons Residential Center, 100 Horizons Lane, Rural Hall, North Carolina, 27045.
Visitation will be held 7:00 – 8:30 PM, Tuesday, November 9, 2010 at the Eakes Funeral Home in Oxford and other times at the home.

I am so sorry to find out that Birk passed away. She was indeed a special lady who will be missed by so many people. I was trying to locate her because I wanted to tell her about the passing of her dear friend Annette Weinstein, who passed away on 12/31/2012. Now they are both together in heaven and will find everlasting peace together with the Lord. You will be forever missed......

Birk was a wonderful lady. She was always so friendly and kind. I will miss her a lot.
