Bob Sprague's beautifully written obituary reflects the life of a person we would have admired and enjoyed knowing. Bob accomplished the noble goals of imparting knowledge and inspiration to his students and sharing unconditional love and dedication to his family with a passion that can be glimpsed through the story of his life. Robert Henry Sprague - "Bob, Dad or Grandpa", 85, passed on March 14 2014 surrounded by the family that loved him so dearly. Resident of Bridgetown for the last 25 years, he lost his wife Valerie Catherine to cancer in 1985 after 30 years of marriage. Bob earned his Masters degrees in Physics as well as Organic Chemistry and taught school (and coached) in the Northwest School District (Colerain High School) for 30 years. His focus in life was family and the youth of America. He leaves behind five children Robert, Catherine, Mary, Victor, Russell, 14 grand children and 4 great grand children. "Cheek, cheek, cheek" and 'Sprague hand shake' will live on. Funeral services will be at Dalbert, Woodruff & Isenogle Funeral Home Sunday March 23. Donations can be given to the Lupus Foundation of American Greater Ohio Chapter.
